I meant the surnames of my father and mother's:
Simanjuntak and Syamsudin.

How big is the chance that these two surnames come up on AF1 & AF2 :blink:
We have 15 milllion people in the Netherlands. The chance that you're particulair surname comes up is one in +/- 14.999.800 million.
In Indonesia 10 fold the ammount of citizens (am i saying this right?). How big is the chance, let alone two of theme?

Syamsudin and Simanjuntak are common surnames in Indonesia, but quiet weird becoz they come up altogether in one thread :blink: ^_^

Hi everyone,

I'm from Indoesian descent (my father) and my last name is Wilson. My ancestors most likely migrated from Scotland to Indonesia, or from Scotland to the Netherlands and then to Indonesia.

I know live in the Netherlands. The my grandfather married Amroh Sadaman, whose father was Ijo Sa'daman bin Qoyat. Sounds Arabic. Unfortunately I know very little about the lineage.

Oh, I also have family in Maluku: their surnames are Leiwakabessy and Malawau.
