I don't really believe in love. I think that we watch too many movies and that's made our idea of love all wrong. There's a lot of confusion with romance and love. You can have love without romance, but I think people forget that. If its right, then it feels romantic even if it does't seem like it.

For me, being with someone means that you can be totally comfortable with them, that you don't mind letting them see your flaws and you don't mind their flaws. You want to do everything that you can to make them happy and everything they do to you makes you happy also.

although i never fall in love but since i watch lots of movies it gives me an idea what is love.
when you love a person you really dont know where it start or why you love him/her you just feel it. love him w/o a reason. love is unmeasurable.

Love is just love. I can't explain it and neither can you guys.

But it's like this really warm feeling in you where you just wanna burst out screaming on top of your lungs. And it gives you a feeling of fulfilment and you just fill full!

as in you don't feel alone. Its so hard to explain that i guess you have to experience it yourself.

... but i can give you an example to try on.

Just think of someone you really care, a bestfriend/close friend/parents/grandparents/brothers/sisters/cousins all of those

and just imagine how it would be without them. Just think how would it feel if they turn their backs on you and the relationship you had with them is gone.

Have you ever wonder all this while where everyone is with you, you feel wanted and just there don't you? well try thinking how it will feel to be all alone and ignored. Worst thing is, the people who you are always with are the ones ignoring you.

Just like that you can understand bit by bit how love feels, because their there for you.

Unconditionly there, and do they hate it? i don't think so. i mean why will they bother if they hate being with you.

Love doesn't really need to be shown openly or in big words or like some special event. It has to be understand bit by bit because its just so WOW that i don't think the human mind can understand.

Yes people do twist the meaning of love around for lust and attration between a very good looking person that goes back to square one which basically tells you that hormones are taking course.

As for love~ well all i can say is, take it slow and understand it from all kinds of angles. Because love isn't meant to be understand in a snap.

It takes time and effort to grow

Hmm. The age old question - What is love? Many people have such romantic notions of love that they see on tv or in the movies. For example, boy meets girl, then boy and girl fall in "love", and all is happy with the world. However, in real life, there is more to love than what is shown in the media.

Well, my definition of love is about unselfish mutual respect, complete acceptance/understanding of a loved ones flaws, sacrifice and genuine concern with each others well-being. Basically, you have to have all these requirements to know whether it's love or not.
